Batu
Batu is the most favorite natural retreat
place for east java people. It has a beautiful
mountainous view, which 0have attractive
sunrise and sunset. With its climate and
scenic beauty, Batu is sometimes even referred
to "little Switzerland of Java".
Its plateau appearance is almost like an
alpine.
The cool climate and fertile soils are ideal
for growing many species of flower and fruits,

Bromo
Mt Bromo is the most popular and well known

Meru Betiri Reserve
Meru Betiri Reserve is well known with its

Situated on 50,000 ha area at the south

Kawah Ijen
Kawah Ijen is one of the most outstanding
craters in East Java beside Bromo. There
is vast turquoise lake in the center of
crater. Streaked with sulphur, the crater
is active and the lake has been known to
boil over time to time.
There is about 10 miles (16 km) in diameter
caldera surrounding the crater that has
fertile soil. You can also watch see the
beauty scene of coffee vegetation maze,
which planted in this calderas.

Purwodadi Botanical Garden
Founded in 1941 for the study of plants
growing under relatively dry conditions,
the Purwodadi Gardens is situated on the
lower slopes of Mt. Arjuna at an altitude
of about 3000 m and covers an area of 85
hectares (212.5 acres). We can see and observe
all sorts of plants. The scarce and dry
plants can also be found there.

Baluran National Park
Baluran National Park, located on the entire
northeast corner, is a dry countryside of
open forests and scrubland, bordered by
marshes, swampy groves, and white sand beaches.
Its extensive savannah provides a grazing
ground for wild cow, wild buffalos, deer
and wild dog, spotted leopard, primate,
peafowl, jungle pawl, jackals, macaque,
long tail macaque, small antelope, civet
cats, fruit bats, monitor lizards, squirrels
wild pigs kingfishers, bee-eaters, owls,
peacocks, and Javanese wild ox.
Occupied by an area of twenty five thousand
hectares, the Park provides a unique natural
attraction for your nature pleasure.

South Banyuwangi Reserve
Situated on the North of Banyuwangi on the
Java's North Eastern tip, this park covers
an area of twenty five thousand hectares.
The unique about this park is the climate;
this is the driest place in Java.
Beside the home of many jungle fowl, wild
pigs, deer, wild bull, leopard, leaf monkeys,
and species of wild dog, known as asu ajak,
South Banyuwangi Reserve occupies the whole
of the eastern peninsular known as Blambangan,
or alas purwo. This peninsula has idyllic
beach that well known as the world's finest
surfing beaches.

Madura Island
Madura is the small island in the eastern
of Surabaya city; the sea crossing from
Surabaya to this island takes just half
an hour. It is the one of the unique culture
of Indonesia and has many interested places
to be visited; beach, culture, village,
and others. The most famous attraction is
the annual bull racing (kerapan sapi), which
takes place during the dry season in August
and September. These exciting and colorful
tournaments consist of a race between two
pairs of bulls, each team pulling a rider
and sled.
